Intermediate Online Piano Course

Perfect for: Students who know basics or completed beginner course


Duration: 4–6 months


Format: Weekly 1-on-1 sessions (30 or 60 minutes)

​In the intermediate course, you’ll move beyond beginner basics and start building true confidence and musical fluency at the piano. You’ll explore more complex pieces, improve finger independence, and develop control over dynamics, phrasing, and articulation.

​

  • Scales and Arpeggios: Learn major and minor scales up to four sharps/flats, hands together, with increased tempo and accuracy.

  • Chords and Inversions: Practice root, first, and second inversions in multiple keys, and apply them in real music.

  • Sight-Reading: Strengthen your ability to read and play pieces quickly, even with unfamiliar rhythms or key changes.

  • Improvisation and Playing by Ear: Start developing your own musical ideas and play simple tunes without sheet music.

  • Music Theory: Understand key signatures, time signatures, intervals, cadences, and chord progressions used in popular and classical music.

  • Graded Repertoire: Play full pieces from Trinity or ABRSM Grade 2–4 level, covering a mix of classical, contemporary, and Indian film music.

  • Expression and Technique: Use pedal effectively, shape phrases with proper dynamics, and play with better hand posture and control.

  • Performance Skills: Learn how to prepare for a performance, play under pressure, and correct mistakes in real time.This level is perfect for students who’ve already learned the basics and want to unlock the next layer of musical depth and control. You’ll leave this course with more confidence, technical skill, and musical vocabulary—ready to tackle advanced challenges ahead.
